New York's attorney general calls it a dangerous place that preys on our young people; he speaks of the private college loan market. Now that New York has passed a law protecting students from banks who payoff schools to get kids' business, Andrew Cuomo is educating the public.

Matteson car dealer closes its doors (SouthtownStar)

A bank is taking over a Matteson auto dealership, which last week closed its doors, but some customers say they're still out money on recent car purchases. Fifth Third Bank submitted the apparent winning bid for the assets of Matteson Imports, which sold Isuzu, Kia and Volkswagen vehicles and filed for bankruptcy four months ago.
